About The Photographer
What started as a hobby to capture my kayaking adventures, slowly turned into a way to support my roles in business and help the businesses I worked for market their services.
I have been a full time photographer for over 10 years with my river photography business based on The South, Middle, and North Forks of The American River. This time was spent photographing whitewater rafters at various locations and then marketing photo-packages direct to consumer.
Meanwhile, my partnership with Tsunami Sales & Marketing focused on creating Product-Sales and How-To Videos for an inflatable kayak and SUP Manufacturer.
Passion projects included Athlete Profile videos of kayakers, surfers and river guides and the short documentary film, "South Silver, The First Descent.
In 2001, I produced the first online reservation system used in outdoor recreation. This was in an era where all websites were created and coded by hand from scratch. Now, the tools used for web design are vastly improved and abundant, and I primarily focus on creating small business websites on the world largest opensource website platform, WordPress.org.
