Ongoing Creative Partnerships

Consistent visual content beats one-off projects.

Most organizations don’t need more content.  They need a reliable way to plan, produce, and use visual media over time.

Ongoing partnerships are designed for businesses and organizations in Sacramento, Folsom, and Northern California that want consistent, well-considered video, photography, and occasional web support without starting from zero every time a need comes up.

This approach works especially well for marketing, sales, education, recruiting, and donor or customer communication.

The Climb

What an ongoing partnership looks like

Every partnership begins with a planning conversation. We look at your goals, audiences, timelines, and internal capacity, then establish a flexible monthly production rhythm.

From there, we work month-to-month, adjusting scope and priorities as your needs evolve.

Partnerships may include:

  • Video production
  • Commercial photography
  • Content planning and light strategy
  • Occasional website updates or new pages, when web design is part of the engagement

This is not a rigid package.  It is a framework.

Monthly Retainer Options

Rather than locking you into specific deliverables, partnerships are structured around dedicated production time. Output depends on complexity, scope, and how the content will be used.

Essential

From $1,400 / month with annual commitment
  • Designed for businesses that need a consistent content presence without a heavy monthly production commitment. A good starting point for organizations building their first content library or maintaining a steady stream of social and web assets.
  • Typically includes:
  • One focused production session per month
  • One short-form video or a small set of social clips
  • 10 to 20 edited still images, depending on scope
  • Planning, editing, and delivery included
  • Assets are typically built for websites, social channels, and ongoing marketing use.
  • Output varies based on subject matter and complexity. One round of revisions included.

Standard

From $2,300 / month with annual commitment
  • The core partnership level. Built around a full production day each month and designed for businesses running active marketing, regular campaigns, or ongoing content needs across multiple channels.
  • Typically includes:
  • One full production day or two half-day sessions per month
  • One primary video plus two to three social cuts or derivatives
  • 25 to 50 edited still images across subjects or locations
  • Planning, editing, and delivery included
  • Content is planned for specific uses: websites, social campaigns, sales conversations, and ads.
  • Output varies based on subject matter and complexity. Two rounds of revisions included.

Expanded

From $4,200 / month with annual commitment
  • For businesses with higher output requirements, active campaigns, or production that spans multiple locations, subjects, or formats each month.
  • Typically includes:
  • Multiple production days per month, or a single complex production
  • One campaign-level video plus social derivatives, or four to six standalone pieces
  • 50 to 100 or more edited stills across campaign sets or product libraries
  • Planning, editing, and delivery included
  • Content at this level typically supports active campaigns across multiple channels, including paid and organic distribution.
  • Output varies based on subject matter and complexity. Two rounds of revisions included. Travel and specialized equipment billed separately when required.

What Determines Output

Rather than promising a fixed number of videos, output is shaped by:

  • Length and complexity of interviews or scripts
  • Number and complexity of locations or setups
  • Production style (fast and light vs. more produced)
  • Intended use (web, sales, internal, education, etc.)

As a general guideline:

  • A half-day shoot often supports one focused video or a small set of assets
  • A full-day shoot may support two to three videos
  • Simpler formats can yield more output; higher production value yields less
  • The goal is usefulness and longevity, not volume for its own sake.

Production approach

Depending on the project, production may range from:

  • A minimal, efficient setup with a single camera and light footprint
  • To a more involved production with multiple cameras, lighting, and crew

Each approach is chosen intentionally, based on what best serves the message and audience.

Additional production support (as needed)

Partnerships can scale up when required. Additional crew or services may include:

  • Second camera operator
  • Producer or production assistant
  • Aerial photo or video
  • Script development
  • Closed captions
  • Licensed music, narration, or sound design
  • Equipment rental, talent, or travel

These are added only when they serve the project, not by default.

Flexibility and Commitment

Ongoing partnerships are billed monthly and can be adjusted or concluded as needs change.

  • Payment is due in advance of each production period.
  • Discounted rates are available with either a 3-month or 12-month commitment.
  • A minimum three-month commitment is recommended to build momentum.
  • Unused production time is subject to rollover terms outlined in the partnership agreement.
  • Production time is reserved once payment is received.

When partnerships aren’t the right fit

Some projects are better handled as standalone productions. If your needs are highly specific or don’t align with a monthly rhythm, custom project pricing is available.

The goal is to choose the structure that best supports your outcomes.
